Instinct VS Qualm

Instinct – a fact or quality of possessing inborn behavior patterns

Qualm – worry, uneasy feeling, having doubts

TRUST your INSTINCT, but never QUALM.

Why? Because it could be a YES or a NO.

Never doubt someone you love, because if you do not trust someone, then you do not love the person.

How to take care of your man?

©2016 TheAnonymousWritersNotebook

They say, “WOMEN are POWERFUL”.. Do you agree? Well at some point, maybe.

But why just MAYBE?

Some women act like ANGELS and become WITCHES at the end of the day, because of some reasons that I just stated on my blog about “HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR WOMAN”.

But how about MEN? Some women do not know how to take care of their men as well, hence they find love from other women.

Regardless of the age, WOMEN must make their MEN feel loved.

Let’s talk about some WAYS on how to take care of a man. Or no, should I say, WAYS to make him stay..? :p

  1. Promises are made to be broken: Same with women, if you think you can not keep your promise, then just don’t. It’s as easy as 1,2,3. Women do have a superficial happiness and so do men. Both are humans, they both feel the same. Men are just seen to be stronger than women that’s why most women think they are more sensitive than men.
  2. Let them talk: Listen to your woman and let your man talk as well. A man’s ego must be built not crushed.
  3. USAE: Understand, Support, Acknowledge, Encourage. Understand what he thinks is right, Support his plans, Acknowledge his skills and Encourage him to be a better person. Never stop expressing your love with these 4 words. That’s all they needed.
  4. Ask him out: Not because you are the girl/woman in the relationship you will always wait for your man to date you. You can always ask him out for dinner, treat him for a movie or do your reports at a coffee shop together. Once in a while is not bad.
  5. Appreciate him forever: He will court you forever, then appreciate what he does for you and show him that every little thing that he has been doing counts. Big or small show him that you are grateful for having him.
  6. Do not be a nagger: I get it. A woman usually gets mad and tries to be patient as much as she can. But they get mad because her man makes her do it. However, if a man does it and a woman gets mad and annoys him more, then they clash.  REMEMBER, A man’s mistake + the woman’s madness = separation. You can always forgive a person. NOW, if you think you’ve given him chances already and you think it is already too much, then teach him a lesson. That’s the time you teach a person a lesson. But prevention is better than cure. So it’s just give and take. It won’t happen if you know how to take care of your man, and your woman won’t turn into a witch if you know how to treat her right.
  7. Notes: Not because in most cultures, women receive flowers and gifts most of the time mean it is not proper to do the same to your man. Nope. You can always send him gifts, flowers or even leaving a small note telling him how handsome he is every day before leaving for work. Not the notes that tell him to pay the bills all the time. :p
  8. Ask: Give yourself the right to ask your man about his day at work, about his friend, about his workmate, about his boss, or just random things. They need that.
  9. Surprises: I have met many women and only 5% of 100 women surprise their husband or partner. Not because he is a man, he doesn’t deserve surprises. Hey! You are both humans and you both feel the same when it comes to surprises. Maybe, some women think that their partner won’t like it or appreciate it. QUESTION: Have you tried it? Most men are not showy. They won’t show that they like it but they do.
  10. Love him: Follow the 9 ways on how to take care of your man, that explains number 10.

You see, we live based on the culture that we know and follow. But what if, just what if, we do the other way around, would it matter?

Not because he is a man he doesn’t deserve to be treated the way they treat their women. We give – we take. And vice versa. They also get hurt, they also cry, they also feel bad, they also experience pain. They are as well, FRAGILE.

So going back to the question, why just MAYBE? Because there are men who are also powerful, and they deserve to be treated like a king, just like how they treat their women as QUEENS. 🙂

We learn by means of REFLECTION. If we don’t reflect, we will never learn.

If we learn without having any reflection about ourselves, then it is threatening.

How to take care of your woman?

©2016 TheAnonymousWritersNotebook

They say, “WOMEN are POWERFUL”.. Do you agree? Well at some point, maybe.

There are MEN who definitely won’t agree to this.. :p There are many reasons why they won’t agree, considering the status of a man in a woman’s life. It depends on the situation.

Why do WOMEN act like ANGELS and become WITCHES at the end of the day?

Because SOME MEN do not know how to take care of their WOMEN.

Regardless of the age, WOMEN should be treated right.

Let’s talk about some WAYS on how to take care of a woman. Or no, should I say, WAYS to make her remain like an ANGEL..? :p

  1. Promises are made to be broken: Then do not make a promise that you cannot keep. AS SIMPLE AS THAT. Women do have a very superficial happiness. Apparently, they don’t show that and instead give you a tiger look when you promise to come home by 11 and she sees you early in the morning. Like at 5 in the morning.
  2. Listen: Listen to her and never oppose to what she’s telling you NOT UNLESS you really think it is not right. YES, You have the right to state your own opinion, just be ready for your own world war III, or just remain quiet.
  3. VATA: Value, Appreciate, Treasure and Admire her. Never stop expressing your love doing these 4 words.
  4. Date her: Dating a woman doesn’t stop from the day you guys got married. Not because she gave birth to 4 kids and she gained a lot of weight mean you will stop dating her and will try to date someone else. NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! Remember, you loved her because you LOVE her, no reasons in loving. Otherwise, you will have to consider that as an affection. Watching a movie once in a while would do.
  5. Court her forever: When I say court her forever doesn’t mean you will have to give her expensive gifts all the time nor sending her flowers at work. Well for sure you have already spent too much money on that when you were still in your first few months. Why not invite her for coffee, write simple notes, remind her how beautiful she is especially in the morning. We believe that women are more beautiful in the morning (even without makeup).
  6. Be honest: I know that it is difficult to be VERY honest when you are in a relationship or when you are committed, but I think this is one of the rules in life. I’m sorry I can never change that. :p
  7. Random Messages: Good morning beautiful! How’s your day sexy? Have you eaten your dinner love? Believe me, 95% of women would definitely feel a romantic excitement if she sees a message like that. Come on! A single message can already make her feel happy.
  8. You do not have to ask: If you think she’d like that chocolate, just buy it. No need to ask. If you think she’d like the dress, just buy it. No need to ask. If you think she won’t like it. Just buy it! She’ll appreciate it regardless of the item.
  9. Random surprises: Surprise! I came home early from work. How’s that? Surprise I got you a cup your favorite ice cream! Surprise I bought you a new pair of nude shoes. Surprise I am here at the parking lot of your office! Anything you planned to do to make her feel happy that she doesn’t know would definitely surprise her.
  10. LOVE her: Follow the 9 ways on how to take care of your woman, that explains number 10.

You see, when you love a person you do not have to spend too much money to show her that you love her. Just spend TIME with her. And I bet she will be an angel forever.. :p Kidding. She will give you everything that you need and want in life.

So, going back to the question. They say, “WOMEN are POWERFUL”.. Do you agree?

WATCH OUT FOR the WAYS ON TO MAKE YOUR MAN HAPPY. Soon!

A mother’s touch..

©2016 TheAnonymousWritersNotebook

There are things that we cannot control… Like raining on a Monday noon even if the sun is scorching. There are moments that we cannot just leave behind… There are people that we cannot just shun… And there are instances that we cannot just avoid… Like hearing what most politicians have to say on a public interview or talk.

We are all very aware of what Senator Sotto said during the confirmation hearing before the commission’s appointment that brought up the status of Taguiwalo as a solo parent.

There are many reasons why solo parents are widely distributed in the world. A mother can be considered as a solo parent because she cannot just stand the shameless situation brought to her by her husband. Or she can be considered as one if she had been a battered wife in the past and cannot take what the husband was doing anymore. The father cannot attend to the needs of the children and the mother decided to get separated. Needless to say, solo parenting can also happen to fathers. There are as well many single fathers in the world. IT ISN’T A CRIME!

Senator Sotto said, “In the street language when you have children and you are single, ang tawag doon ay ‘na-ano lang.” Or YOU JUST GOT KNOCKED UP in English.

These are some of the things that we cannot CONTROL. We are all entitled to our own opinion. Most likely that was a joke from the senator. However, there are many people who can get affected with what he said because it can hurt those who grew up with having a single parent or being a single parent himself/herself.

Just in time for the upcoming celebration of mother’s day. I am a SINGLE MOTHER. And there are many things that I had to consider and still have to consider up until now. It isn’t easy being a single mother. I will have to think carefully about the things in the future and until the day I die.

Now, what is the difference between a single mother/father and a solo parent? There is a big difference between the two. You are a single mother or father. SINGLE means you do not have a partner. You do not belong to the club of couples, but you get help from people around you in raising your child/children. If you are a SOLO PARENT, you attend to the needs of your children, you work and feed your children and you keep the raises of your child. Moreover, a raped victim can also be considered as a solo parent for children grow up with their raped victim mothers which aren’t their fault. See there are many things that we should look thoughtfully for a long time before we come up with a decision whether or not it is big.

Yes, I was hurt when I heard about what the Senator said, but I cannot control his mind. Instead of getting affected with what he said, I figured out that I think I should just continue living a happier life planning for my daughter’s future and my future as a single/solo parent.

For sure, the issue will be brought up again on Mother’s day because that’s another thing that we cannot control. To Senator Sotto, I feel sad for what you have had to say to Taguiwalo including 10 other single/solo parents in the world.

It is easy to be a father, but it takes a lifetime to be a SINGLE MOTHER / MOTHER. And I say KUDOS to all the single/solo parents, BOTH mother and father in the world especially to all the MOTHERS who can carry themselves beautifully and SINGLEHANDEDLY raising more than 2 children on their own. You deserve to be treated like QUEENS.

To your mother, to his mother, to her mother, to my mother and all the mothers in the world including myself, A VERY HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

Danger

There’s DANGER everywhere.

Mom saying it’s dangerous to go out at night.

Dad saying it’s dangerous to talk to strangers.

Brother saying it’s dangerous to go biking at a young age.

And sister reminding me that it’s dangerous to fall in love.

What do you think of the last statement? Do you agree?

Wanderlust

Have you traveled anywhere exciting lately?

BATANES is one of most fascinating places in the Philippines. It’s beautiful sceneries and kind people catch the eyes of the globetrotters. But not all travelers think they can afford to go to Batanes. Here’s one of the most wonderful vacation these two have ever experienced. I included their DIY IT for those who would like to go to Batanes!

16998011_294836760919684_5727194956921716356_n_Snapseed.jpg

16864922_294790980924262_3267081398810446487_n.jpg

Airlines such as PAL and Skyjet fly from Manila to Batanes. As far as I know Skyjet flies on weekdays and weekends except for TUESDAY. They only have flights in the morning. The plane leaves at an exact time (6:45am). Don’t be late. The plane arrives after an hour and 15 minutes. Batanes airfare can go as high as PHP10,000 one way but sometimes, you can score cheap tix whenever there are promos available or seat sale. Unlike in Boracay, there is 2go available or passenger boat that would take 10 hours. In Batanes there isn’t any available.

Arriving at the airport, you will have to pay P300 for the environmental fee in Basco. You will be given a map and a ticket, Make sure to keep it,, you will use it later on.

16996302_294805684256125_5051599967308769081_n (1)_Snapseed.jpg

Hotels and homestay abound in Basco. They stayed at Nanay Cita’s Homestay which is just a few minutes away from the airport. Just take a tricycle and pay for P30.00 to reach Nanay Cita’s. There are 5 available rooms. They suggest you rent the one on the rooftop. (Photo available here) All of the rooms are air-conditioned, but since it is very cold in Batanes, you can just tell Nanay that you will only use a fan. (3N4D, they only paid for 2100 for two.) It has it’s own restroom/bathroom and you are allowed to cook. She has a kubo where you can enjoy the relaxing view while having coffee or lunch. Since they arrived at 8ish, she prepared a free breakfast (egg, sinangag and tapa plus coffee).

The two took a rest the morning they arrived and had their North Batan Tour after lunch. Nanay Cita will provide you a tricycle driver who will take you to your tour.

North Batan Tour – P1,000 (Don’t ask, you will understand when you get to experience it.)

Valugan Boulder Beach (They didn’t swim LOL, mashadong mabato po). You will see different sizes of pebbles in layers.

People in Batanes believe that if you make one yourself that day you visit Valugan Boulder Beach and it is still there the moment you get to come back, your wish will come true. (fingers crossed)

Dipnaysupuan Japanese Tunnel – show your ticket. (the one that you paid upon arriving at the airport)

16864368_294809934255700_8962287213528735143_n.jpg

Fundacion Pacita – they say, this is the most pricey hotel in Batanes where most actors stay. (Approx 8-12,000 per night.) They will allow you to take photos and take a tour inside if there aren’t any tourists. But if there are, you are only allowed to take photos outside, and the garden. There are food and drinks available too.

END OF DAY 1 – their moms cooked and prepared adobo and tocino on their first day. There aren’t any resto close to Nanay Cita’s. So it’s either you cook or take time to find a resto. They said it’s really tiring! You’d rather stay at home after a long trip.

They were scheduled to have their Sabtang Island tour the next morning, unfortunately, it rained. So they decided to just have the South Batan Tour instead and wished for a sunny third day for their Sabtang tour.

South Batan Tour – P1,500 (Again, don’t ask, you will understand when you get to experience it.) They both decided to take the tour at 12:00pm hoping that the sun will appear after lunch and voila! It did. Thank God.)

San Carlos Borromeo Church – the first stone-made church in Mahatao, which has its small souvenir shop and the famous Batanes Blank book archive which holds hundreds of hardbound books with blank pages. You can pick any number of a book and you can write anything there. (BTW, you will have to pay P100 upon entering)

END OF DAY 2. – They had to get back home before dinner so they can take a rest and tuck themselves in bed early for their 5:15 am tour in Sabtang. Received a message from Kuya Jun Castillo (everybody knows him) informing them of the tryc number who will take them on their last tour.

You will have to get dressed as early as 5:15 in the morning. Nanay Cita will wake you up and will call you once the jeepney arrives. Make sure to bring BAON (water, crackers, juice or whatever)

Sabtang Island Tour – P1000. You will pay P54.00 back and forth. There is only one jeepney available. So the one who will drive you to the port is the one who will be there after your tour. You will be asked to register your name. Do not forget the number of bags you’re taking with you.

Here we go! The water between Sabtang and Batan is known to be rough, tough and frightening. They dare you to try it. (Take 1 bonamin before riding aboard the Faluwa/Falowa boat. A 30-minute boat ride to the unforgettable island.

Arriving at the port, One shouted Kuya Jun’s name and he was there waiting for them, guiding us to our tryc driver kuya Eugene. The tryc in Sabtang is different from the usual ones that we get to see in Manila. Theirs is made of wood.

Chamantad Cove and Tinyan Viewpoint – where you can rent a complete outfit of Talugong, kanayi, basket and Vakul for P25.00 and take as many photos as you like. Sabtang Lighthouse

Conscience Cafe and Souvenir shop – this was their last stop for this tour. Where they bought some bukayo and waited for the 1 pm boat ride back to Basco.

Some people stay here overnight. (You can stay at a homestay next to Sabtang Lighthouse. If I am not mistaken, you will have to prepare P300 for an overnight stay.) They chose to have a day trip instead since their flight back to Manila the ff day was early. Make sure to be at the port before 1 pm or you will have to stay overnight. That is the only schedule going back to Basco.

Manong jeepney (The same jeepney driver that morning) will be waiting for you and will drop you off at Nanay Cita’s.

They arrived at 2 pm and decided to take a nap since they woke up early that day. At 4 pm they walked to a store a few blocks away from Petron Gas Station where bikes are for rent. For only P25.00 for an hour, you can go visit some places in Basco. They went biking to the plaza where some food stalls and souvenir shops can be found.

16996000_294836530919707_4207892064002211378_n

They also tried Phil’s Brew Cafe. They offer sweets and coffee of course. MUST TRY!-

This was their DIY/Tipid Tour in Batanes. They suggest you visit Batanes for a week because they were not able to visit Itbayat Island which is approx. 3-4 hours away from Basco. Considering the pricey airfare, if you are already there, stay for a week.

For goodies, you can purchase Ube Halaya for P100 per container, P35-P45 for Camote chips, Prices ranging from 25-100 for bukayo (different sizes), P30-P250 for souvenirs.

If you are a nature lover, go and experience the relaxing view and places in Batanes. They actually have the internet everywhere, but right after Bagyong Ferdie, most places had a problem with the internet connection. There are some areas which do not have any signal as well. They don’t suggest kids, especially toddlers because it requires you to a lot of walking, hiking, and trekking. They will not enjoy it yet.

Batanes is a very clean province. There are only 3-4 tourists who were smoking. People are all kind and not boastful. They smile a lot. They are all fair and they all follow the standard rates in everything. You won’t see any street children. Everybody works. So they are all busy and earning. Life in Batanes is very simple. It felt like as if they lived back where technology wasn’t a big deal yet.

Make sure to have water with you all the time. It’s really hot.

PS: make sure to have a perky, active and funny buddy with you. 😊👍🏻
So, para sa mga nagtatanong – I hope this one helps!

Should you have concerns – Is there anything else that you need? I think I have written everything here already.
